Jesse, you’re right. Sarah Palin probably wouldn’t make it as a Navy Seal but then neither would Barack Obama or Al Franken. At any rate I find such comparisons faulty since we’re not electing a commando but a Chief executive who needs the discretion of when to use the Navy Seals and when not to. We elect a President based on their experience in the public and private sector not how tight a grouping they can hit when firing a wepaon. However in this case Sarah Palin with her hunting skills is far better than Barack Obama..or probably even you.

Jesse, you are the breath of fresh air that US politics needs – no doubt about it. I think I have agreed with just about everything I have heard you say. From the topics like ‘family values’ mongerers being hypocrites, to Sarah Palin – quitter and untested, to Sotomayor = very qualified. I have agreed with all of it. UFC – I like it because it is the most honest “skills/contest/conversation” between two professional combatants that could exist. I just have to respect that.
On Al Franken holding the important office which he appears to have won? This may be the shortcoming that having a “citizen government” presents for me. Aren’t we best served by people with a professional level of law knowledge and political background?
